In brief...: Tourists pose for wild trick
Tourists are being tricked into posing for pictures abroad with captive animals which have been drugged, mutilated and restrained, holiday companies said.
Unsuspecting UK travellers often take part in photo opportunities with maltreated creatures unaware of the cruelty and suffering involved, the UK's Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) said. The FTO has thrown its weight behind a campaign to stop the misuse of wild animals exploited by photographs at resorts.
