Holidaymakers hate hidden charges for using credit cards and mobiles phones abroad more than any other travel irritation, it has been revealed.
Such charges headed the list of grumbles of UK tourists abroad in a survey by Post Office travel services.
The second-worst irritation for travellers was other UK holidaymakers, followed by inflated prices for tourists. Other pet hates include being pressurised into tipping even when service is poor and forgetting to pack key items.
