In brief...: OAPs shun foreign travel

As many as 15 per cent of British adults have never holidayed abroad, a new survey shows.

And it is those aged 65 or more that are the biggest stay-at-homes, the survey from Sainsbury's Travel Insurance revealed. While only around 10 per cent of people aged 17-24 have never had a foreign holiday, this number soars to 21 per cent for those aged 65 plus.

The poll also showed that West Midlanders are the most-frequent foreign holiday takers.
