Holidaymakers are putting themselves and other road users at risk by driving home tired after long flights, according to a poll.
As many as 18 per cent of those on long-haul plane trips drive after flying home and more than half of these drivers feel tired, a survey by Saga Motor Insurance found.
Also, 27 per cent of people taking short-haul flights drive home afterwards, with more than half (53 per cent) of post-flight motorists driving more than 50 miles.
