Britons driving in France face the highest motoring charges in the eurozone, a survey shows.
Uk holidaymakers would have to pay twice as much to hire and drive a car in France for one day than they would in Holland, Cyprus, Spain or Belgium, the survey from Post Office travel services found.
The French price, including 100 miles driving, is £144.44 compared with just £55.00 for Holland, £55.13 for Cyprus, £56.73 for Spain and £57.10 for Belgium.
