Britons looking for the perfect holiday should go away this weekend, take a two-week break and choose the UK or western Europe, it was revealed.

They should also take their partner and opt for a break that is a mixture of adventure, culture and sun, a poll by travel company isango found.

The period between July 11-13 is seen as the best time to go away, with a two-week holiday being more popular than a 10-day trip or a long weekend break.
