In brief...: Sushi now on Butlins menu

Holiday company Butlins, associated in the past with fish and chips rather than fine fare, is to open its first sushi bar, it was announced.

Japanese delicacies such as seafood gunkan, smoked salmon nigiri and tuna maki rolls, will be available at the company's Shoreline Hotel in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

Butlins chefs have received special training from sushi experts so they can make the healthy platters fresh daily, although traditional recipes have been slightly adapted to accommodate British tastes. Also, new juice and smoothie bars have just opened.
