In brief...: Weekend bonding
Sex- or an increase in intimacy-was cited as a critical reason to take a weekend break, according to a survey about "weekend break" habits among people in the UK.
The survey was commissioned by purplehotels as part of its Campaign for the Real Weekend and carried out by BMRB across 1,000 adults.
Nearly 44 per cent of the 25 to 34-year age group strongly agreed a "loved-up" weekend away would improve the intimacy of their relationship with their partner.
