Manchester United and Chelsea securing places in the Champions League final has led to a 350 per cent rise in searches for hotel rooms in Moscow on the night of the final, according to Hotels.com.

Moscow is the world's most expensive city, according to the site. The average price travellers paid for a hotel room in the city in 2007 was £194 per night compared to NewYork where travellers had to pay £143 for a room per night.
