In brief...: UK seaside resorts blow
Britons may have once warmed to seaside holidays, but younger tourists now find UK beach resorts decidedly uncool, a survey showed.
Those aged under 30 are turning their noses up at Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides and swimming in the sea, the survey from Teletext Holidays found.
And they are not keen on playing bingo, sending postcards or walking along the pier, the poll showed.
