British Airways is scrapping its Manchester to New York service but plans to begin daily flights to the Big Apple from Gatwick.
Ba will suspend the Manchester service in October, with the Gatwick-New York flights beginning on October 27.
The Gatwick service is in addition to the 55 weekly flights BA makes to New York from Heathrow where the airline is still to complete its full transfer to the west London airport's new Terminal 5 following a chaotic opening.
