South Korea's next president has vowed to boost the country's struggling tourism industry.
President-elect Lee Myung-bak, who takes office on February 25, said he wants tourism to become one of the country's key industries.
He wants to increase the number of holidaymakers visiting the country from 6.5 million last year.
"There is a need for those working in the tourism industry to take pride in the field," he told a meeting of heads of tourism associations.
