Savvy sun-seekers are turning just a few days' leave into two-week breaks this Christmas.
The way the days fall for the festive season this year means many workplaces will remain shut from December 21 until January 2.
This has prompted a big rush to the sun, according to travel agent Travel-Republic.co.uk
Even those workers whose offices will remain open over Christmas are only having to take a few days off to ensure a long time away.
