In brief...: Rude bosses make life hell

Almost one in three workers hate their boss because they shout and scream at them in the office, according to a new report.

A survey of 1,000 workers also found complaints that managers were holding back their careers, took credit for their work - and had BO.

Rude bosses and those who ignored or patronised their staff were also criticised in the survey by jobs website TipTopJob.com.

Corinne Dauncey, of TipTopJob.com, said: "The survey results suggest there are a lot of unhappy relationships out there. We spend the majority of our time at work, so it is important to have a good relationship with your boss. If you do not feel you can talk to your boss then it may be time to look for a new job."
