The most popular time for workers to apply for another job is Tuesday lunch time, according to a new study.
Recruitment firm Reed Employment said one in five jobseekers sent off a CV in their search for a new post at 1pm on Tuesday.
The analysis of 2.5 million jobseekers also found that November was the busiest month of the year for job placements.
The report said most firms posted vacancies on Reed's website on Fridays in the mis taken belief that people looked for jobs over the weekend.
