In brief...: DTZ expects £250,000 bid

Bids for a 14-acre site at Loaninghill, near Broxburn, had to be submitted by yesterday after property agents DTZ set a closing date.

"The land comprises a flat, rectangular field extending to 14.23 acres and is currently employed as arable land," said DTZ director John Brown.

"It lies to the south of the A89 opposite housing areas in Uphall and to the north of woodland and farmland and has already attracted significant interest from developers."

Dtz is expecting offers in excess of £250,000 for the site.
