Seven promotions and two new partner appointments
Harper Macleod has announced nine new appointments and promotions.
Associates Heather Calderwood (insurance); David Kerr (litigation); and Katrina Ovenden (real estate) have all been promoted to partner.
Two new partners, Euan Pirie and Euan Mitchell, have also joined the firm's public sector, housing & infrastructure team.
Harper Macleod has also promoted four assistants, Iain Baird (energy); Murray Steel (insurance); Marina McFaulds (insurance) and Graeme McNee (business advisory) to associate level.
Harper Macleod chief executive Martin Darroch said: “Each appointment and promotion reinforces our continued commitment to our key sectors and builds upon the success we have achieved in these areas during 2012.
“Given the current challenging economic conditions, it is vital that we can deliver a commercially aware service to our clients and are able to adapt and extend our service offering in line with our clients’ evolving requirements.
“These appointments will, I believe, help position our firm for continued growth in Scottish, wider UK and international markets.”
