Firm announces three new senior appointments
Shepherd and Wedderburn (S+W) has added three lawyers to its energy and renewables practice.
Clare Foster, former head of banking and finance in Scotland with Pinsent Masons, joins S+W as a partner in the corporate team, based in Edinburgh.
She brings more than 16 years’ experience in project finance with a focus on power, infrastructure and renewables and has advised on PPP, PFI, renewable power plant and wind farm projects.
Scott McCallum also joins S+W from Pinsent Masons, where he specialised in planning and environmental work in high value projects in energy, waste and mining.
McCallum joins S+W as a partner in the planning team, working out of Glasgow.
In addition, S+W has also appointed Julian Poullain as an assistant in its construction team, part of the property and infrastructure practice.
Poullain joins S+W from the Co-operative Bank where he was legal counsel in the renewable energy and asset finance team, based in Manchester.
S+W said these latest appointments expand its energy and renewables division to 66 lawyers, including 28 partners.
Commenting on the new appointments, S+W chief executive Stephen Gibb said: “These high-profile appointments bring essential expertise in project finance, planning and construction and will augment our already strong offering in the energy and renewables Sector.
“I am delighted to welcome Clare, Scott and Julian to the firm.”
