Calum MacLeod and Jill Fryer join the firm's Inverness office
Harper Macleod has taken on two new associates at its Inverness office.
Calum MacLeod is joining the firm's energy and natural resources sector group and Jill Fryer joins the public sector team.
MacLeod, who qualified as a lawyer in 2007, will work with developers, landowners and community groups on renewable energy projects.
In his new role, MacLeod will initially work two days each week with Community Energy Scotland, a national charity headquartered in the Highlands, which is dedicated to supporting communities to develop and lead their own renewable energy projects.
Harper Macleod says Fryer brings “extensive experience in providing support to clients in a wide range of areas, including contracts, public procurement, state aid, competition law and freedom of information”.
