Aberdeen-based firm also takes Training Manager of the Year prize
Aberdeen headquartered Johnston Carmichael won the top prize at the Scottish Accountancy Awards held at Glasgow's Hilton Hotel.
The Accountancy Firm of the Year was one of two awards won by the firm, which saw fee income grow by four per cent last year and which climbed to 23rd place in the list of the UK’s top accountancy firms.
Their training manager Iain Abernethy won the Training Manager of the Year category.
Abernethy has introduced a number of initiatives including rigorous student recruitment processes and recommended study methods at Johnston Carmichael. Pass rates have improved significantly to the point where the firm outperforms the UK average by a significant margin.
