Caryn Penley and Allan Wernham new joint managing partners of the firm and Laurence Ward chairman
Dundas & Wilson have elected Caryn Penley and Allan Wernham as joint managing partners of the firm and Laurence Ward as its new chairman.
Penley and Wernham, who are both currently serving as interim managing partners, will begin their four-year tenure in the position on August 1, when new chairman Ward will also take up his new position.
Wernham said: "Caryn and I are honoured to be chosen by our partners to lead our firm and we look forward to delivering on our shared vision.
“We have been elected on a growth agenda and we will work with all of our colleagues to focus on our clients and ensure that our firm is best placed to meet the challenges ahead."
Laurence Ward, the new chairman of Dundas & Wilson, endorsed the election of Penley and Wernham as managing partners saying: "I look forward very much to working with them both.
“As chairman, my first priority will be to support them in implementing and driving forward our firm's strategy for growth."
Dundas & Wilson is a national law firm with 83 partners and more than 470 staff based across offices in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
