Two partner and three legal director promotions
Pinsent Masons has announced a number of new promotions across its Scottish offices.
Aberdeen-based oil and gas expert Shirley Allen has been promoted to partner alongside Edinburgh-based Gillian Frew, who specialises in energy and infrastructure finance.
They join 11 others to be promoted to partner across the firm's UK network.
Aberdeen-based property lawyer Mark McCall, banking lawyer Alan Cassells and employment lawyer Carolyn Miller - both based in Glasgow - are among 12 UK staff promoted to legal director.
Pinsent Masons merged with Scottish-based law firm McGrigors on May 1 with the combined entity now operating under the Pinsent Masons banner.
The combined business was estimated would generate fees of £282 million and a staff total of 2,500, including 1,500 lawyers.
