In brief...: New partners join lawteam

Anderson Strathern is appointing three new partners bringing the firm's total to 48.

Solicitor advocate Katrina Lumsdaine, who specialises in insolvency and IP litigation, has joined from DLA Piper.

Internal promotions are Susan MacLeod, head of family law, and James Blair, head of corporate finance.

Chairman Robert Carr said: "I am delighted to welcome these outstanding lawyers as partners."
