In brief...: Biggart Baillie loses partner

Ledingham Chalmers has tempted a new partner away from Biggart Baillie.

Neil Anderson will join the corporate team in Aberdeen later this year. He has spent 12 years with Biggart Baillie in Edinburgh and Glasgow with the last five as partner.

During his career he developed expertise in the power sector and regularly provided external support to the in-house legal and commercial teams of major companies.

The firm, which also has offices in Edinburgh and Inverness, also announced long-serving planning and environmental expert Marysia Lewis is leaving to take up a full-time floating Sheriff role for Grampian, Highlands and Islands. She will be based in Peterhead for her new role.
