Kpmg has appointed three new partners in Scotland taking the total north of the border to 24.

Donald Fleming joins from Big Four rival PricewaterhouseCoopers as head of pensions to drive expansion in the field.

Kevin Smith is promoted from indirect tax director and Jenny Stewart makes the step up to lead the public sector team.

Craig Anderson, head of the KPMG in Scotland, said: "These latest appointments come on the back of a strong 12 months for the practice north of the border."

"In particular, Donald's decision to join the firm from PricewaterhouseCoopers represents a real coup."
