In brief...: Begbies is booming

Begbies Traynor, the business rescue, recovery and restructuring specialist, is expanding its team in Scotland due to the growth in insolvency work at its offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.

David Ramsay has now joined the firm as assistant insolvency manager from Wylie & Bisset in Musselburgh where he was business development manager.

He will divide his time between the Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

Since it opened offices in Scotland six years ago, Begbies Traynor has grown to a team of more than 40 and recently moved to larger offices in Edinburgh. It also opened an office in Dundee last year, which covers business in the North of Scotland.
