In brief...: Grant called to account

More than 200 people were at the University of Strathclyde to hear the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) president address local business professionals.

Gordon Grant held court at the CIMA Scotland annual dinner held in the Barony Hall in Glasgow.

He said: "CIMA has a strong presence in Scotland that is not only down to growing membership numbers but to the relationships built between CIMA and the local business community over the years."

Other speakers included Dean Park from Radio Clyde.
