IT support firm to expand its data centre capacity in the capital

IT support services firm Onyx Group has announced a six-figure investment at its Edinburgh base to expand its 24/7 IT support offering.

Stockton-based Onyx Group secured a five-year, multi-million pound contract with Edinburgh Airport in October to manage its IT infrastructure.

The group, which also has operations in Glasgow, said the investment is part of a wider plan to expand its IT support service offering in Scotland.

Hugh Gillen, Onyx Group director in Scotland, said: “Scotland is a key part of our ambitious growth strategy as we continue to expand our Scotland-based clients and the services that we can deliver.”
