Contract with Scottish Parliament includes management of a new online ordering system
Print and direct mail firm Paramount Printers has secured a £500,000 five-year extension to a print and fulfilment services contract with the Scottish Parliament.
The Edinburgh-based company was the incumbent supplier having managed to contract for the previous five years.
As part of the new deal, Paramount has created an online ordering system for The Scottish Parliament to manage and track stationery and print orders.
Paramount said the early success of the new system will see it rolled out to some of its other customers.
Managing director, Paul Hepburn, said: “We have already seen a large number of Parliament staff set up their personal login and begin using the system – it’s proving to be extremely time efficient when processing orders.”
Paramount was set up in Edinburgh in 1964 and last year posted sales of £1.1 million.
Its customers include the Scottish Parliament, University of Edinburgh, General Teaching Council for Scotland, Institute of Chartered Accountants, VisitScotland, Chartered Institute of Bankers Scotland and the Educational Institute of Scotland.
