Oil and gas firm on growth path
XPD8 plans to create 20 new jobs in the next 12 months.
The oil and gas maintenance management company wants to increase staff numbers to 55.
It has appointed former Petrofac and Petrotechnics executive Peter Saunders as general manager, ex-SSP financier Jeremy Lai as finance manager and Ian Cooper, previously with PSN, as maintenance engineering manager to handle the planned expansion.
Mark Cavanagh, managing director, said: "We have an extremely healthy order book and have bolstered our management team to deliver this and drive new opportunities in the North Sea and internationally. We are anticipating strong growth in both revenue and profitability in the next year.
"The industry's focus on integrity, reliability and maintenance is fuelling demand for our services not just in the mature UKCS but also overseas.
"We operate in a competitive sector but are continuing to win business because of our innovative approach which is based on the latest technologies, bespoke software and a wealth of experience and technical abilities."
XPD8 was formed in 2003 then went through a management buy out in 2009 which was backed by £2 million from Maven Capital Partners.
