Stefan Kaltenbach of Orangedental joins as non-executive director
Dental technology firm Cariescan has added a software specialist to its board as a non-executive director.
Stefan Kaltenbach is currently chief executive of German firm Orangedental which earlier this year signed a distribution deal to sell the Cariescan PRO tooth decay detection device.
Kaltenbach is also currently vice chairman of the supervisory board of natural resource investment fund, EurAsia group and chairman of the German software company Ametras Informatik AG.
Graham Lay, chief executive of Cariescan parent company 3D Diagnostic Imaging, said Kaltenbach's connections will help Cariescan expand as it expands around the world.
He said: "We believe that this appointment will significantly strengthen CarieScan's board as Stefan Kaltenbach has direct experience of a successful product roll out in the dental diagnostic sector and is a highly regarded figure in the wider dental supply industry.
