Dealership part of a wider £6m overall investment from John Clark Motor Group
STEWART Milne Construction has won a near s3 million contract to build a new Pentland Land Rover dealership in Edinburgh.
Work is underway on the site on behalf of the John Clark Motor Group and it is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
Around 20 new jobs will be created at the new 30,000 square feet dealership when it opens in the new year.
It forms part of a s6 million overall investment being make by John Clark in the run up to it taking over the Pentland Edinburgh and the Lothian Land Rover franchise next year.
The new 30,000 sq. ft Pentland dealership will feature a two-level 12-car showroom, 71-car display and a 14-bay workshop with the latest service facilities and technology as well as a satellite Land Rover Authorised Repairer, which will also open early next year.

John Clark Motor Group has invested s14 million building up its dealership network in the past five years.
John Clark, chairman of the John Clark Motor Group, said: This is a very high-profile site, close to where three motorways converge, so we wanted to make sure that the new dealership makes a strong statement about Pentland Land Rover as the main dealer for the area.
It is also a substantial site that can accommodate considerably expanded facilities that will enable Stuart Miller and his team at Pentland, to provide existing and new customers with a high level of customer service.
