Innes Smith steps up from finance director role

Housebuilder Springfield Properties has appointed finance director Innes Smith as its new managing director.

Smith joined Springfield as finance director in 2005 from Gael Force.

Springfield chairman Sandy Adam said: “Innes knows the company inside out and is skilled in communicating our goals, both within Springfield and to our external partners.

“He plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Springfield retains customer focus in all of its decision making.

Elgin-based Springfield employs around 200 people directly across 20 live sites around Scotland at present and expects to build in the region of 400 homes this year.
