Joins GVA from his own practice, Agnew Property Consultants
Property consultant GVA has appointed Stuart Agnew as its new head of investment in Scotland.
Agnew, who formally worked for Capita Symonds, joins GVA from his own practice, Agnew Property Consultants, which he set up in Edinburgh only last year.
Keith Aitken, regional senior director at GVA, said: “The individual needed to be the right fit hence the reason why it’s taken a while to find the right person.
“I have every confidence Stuart can establish a strong investment capability here in Scotland, and one that will complement our UK-wide capital markets team.
“This appointment is a hugely strategic move for us.
“It’s a clear indication we have improved the profile of our transactional capability and a further sign of our desire to grow further.
“Stuart is tremendously experienced in all aspects of property investment and together with our own teams across Scotland we now have the platform to further grow the Scottish business further.”
Agnew added: “I am excited at the prospect of creating and adding value in new projects for my existing clients with the assistance of very strong local knowledge and expertise which exists in GVA’s teams.“
GVA strengthened its Scottish practice in February with its acquisition of UK hotel and leisure property specialist RGA for an undisclosed sum, and now has a Scottish staff of 50 at its Edinburgh base.
