Charlotte House to be converted into a hotel
A 12-storey office building in Glasgow city centre has been sold in a £5 million deal.
Charlotte House, a 1960s-built development located on the east side of Queen Street, has been purchased by investment firm Curo Property Funds LLP in a joint venture with property developer SCOT Sheridan.
The purchasers intend to convert the building into a hotel.
Ross Burns, of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Glasgow office, said: “There was strong demand for the property with 15 bids received demonstrating there is appetite and funding for some projects.”
Property agent Jones Lang LaSalle sold the building on behalf of LaSalle Investment Management and Ryden acted on behalf of the purchaser.
