Carillion Group subsidiary moving from 7,300 sq.ft office to 4,150sq. ft office in the same building
Carillion Group subsidiary TPS Consult has agreed a five-year lease on 4,150 sq. ft of office space at the Commercial Quay development in Leith, Edinburgh.
Property consultant DTZ brokered the deal with TPS on behalf of the building's owner, GE Capital Real Estate UK.
TPS, which provides architecture and engineering advice to government, local authority and private sector businesses, already has offices in the development, but has taken the new lease after having “restructured” to meet operational needs.
This “restructuring” is a move from a 7,300 sq. ft office in the same building.
The terms of the new rent deal have not been disclosed.
Brian Weale of TPS said: “Commercial Quay is a thriving business location and gives us easy access into Edinburgh whilst allowing us to be close to some of our key customers.
“The development has offered us the flexibility to meet our current and future accommodation needs.”
Peter Fraser, senior surveyor at DTZ in Edinburgh, added: “The landlord, GE Capital Real Estate UK, is a tenant-focused landlord.
“Recognising that TPS is a longstanding tenant at Commercial Quay, GE Capital Real Estate offered a package that ensured TPS were provided with the opportunity to meet their changing business needs with minimal disruption.”
