Coffee chain signs lease for new outlet
Starbucks has agreed terms to move into The Cube office development.
The coffee chain signed a 15-year lease for 2,141 square feet on the ground floor.
It will pay £42,820 a year for the site on Leith Street in the centre of Edinburgh and joins existing tenants Baillie Gifford and Glenmorangie.
Jones Lang LaSalle and Cushman Wakefield acted for landlord IVG while EYCO represented Starbucks.
Simon Bashford, senior surveyor at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: "Starbucks is an excellent acquisition for The Cube, further complementing the high profile businesses that have already taken space."
Cameron Stott, director at Jones Lang LaSalle’s office agency team, said: "This latest letting for The Cube is also a reflection of positive sentiment in Edinburgh’s city centre office market."
