Charity signs lease at refurbished warehouse
The Scottish Wildlife Trust has agreed a move to a new home.
All 38 staff will transfer from Cramond House in Edinburgh, where the Trust has been since 1991, to a former bonded warehouse in the Leith area of the capital.
A 10-year lease has been taken for 4,680 square feet at the Gregor Properties development.
Geoff Scott, senior surveyor at Jones Lang LaSalle, represented the Trust and said: "A number of options were considered including staying at Cramond House but 110 Commercial Street offered the best combination of modern working environment, staff amenity, access to sustainable transport and financial package.
"Take up of office space in Leith has been slow over the last couple of years but this letting provides fresh impetus for the location as a viable and attractive proposition for footloose requirements."
Edinburgh Commercial Property represented Gregor Properties.
