Letting at Riverside Business Park
CIGNA Healthcare Benefits has agreed a move to a new office.
The company has agreed a five-year lease on 16,144 square feet at the Clyde View building in the Riverside Business Park, Greenock.
The US corporation intends to add around 50 Scottish staff over the next two years.
James Parker, managing director, said: "We're delighted to have signed the lease at Clyde View, this is a great opportunity for us to grow our UK business and continue to operate within Inverclyde.
"We're looking forward to moving into the premises in November and know that this will be an environment our employees and clients will truly benefit from."
The Clyde View building, the first speculative development in the town for 15 years, was completed in 2009 by regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde.
Other tenants include Goltens, Childcare Training Solutions, Jenda Energy, 2020 Renewables and Toltech Internet Solutions.
Cushman and Wakefield and James McGee acted on behalf of Riverside Inverclyde with CBRE representing CIGNA.
Bill Nicol, chief executive at Riverside Inverclyde (Property Holdings), said: CIGNA is world-renowned and it is this partnership of being able to combine international and local investment which is helping to shape Greenock as a reputable business destination.
Clyde View is a terrific success story and our ability to be flexible in responding to tenants, as well as our leap of faith in investing in the first Grade A space, has helped fast-track the lettings.
Riverside Inverclyde is now looking to build another office building.
