Strong pipeline at company
Stewart Milne Construction has won new contracts worth a total of more than £15 million.
The company said around a third of the business has come from the commercial sector across new build and existing industrial, retail and office units.
In the education sector is it working on a college building refurbishment and an extension to student accommodation in Aberdeen.
Also it has secured work at several social housing developments including a £4 million contract to build low carbon homes in Inverness for Servite Housing Association and Highland Council.
Bill Imlach, managing director of Stewart Milne Construction, said: "In what is a very challenging time for the industry, it’s important to have a steady stream of new business coming through and these contracts have given us a solid platform to push forward in the second half of 2011.
"With more potential opportunities in the pipeline, we are feeling conservatively positive and will continue to work hard in securing new contracts throughout Scotland."
