THE Queen's former dressmakers were last night in crisis talks to hold off administration.
Hardy Amies said they had filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator but were still talking to potential saviours.
The Savile Row tailors have lost money for the past two years and their biggest backers have refused to lend them any more.
Founder Hardy Amies, who designed dozens of gowns for the Queen, died in 2003.
