In brief...: Firm to host green meet

Law firm HBJ Gateley Wareing is to host two 'Climate Change Conferences' in Edinburgh on July 31 and in Glasgow on August 8.

The seminars target the commercial property sector, and will offer practical solutions to help property firms implement environmental legislation.

Paul Minto, head of public service at HBJ Gateley Wareing, said: "Climate change is the single biggest environmental challenge we face, and environmental legislation is being introduced which will have a clear impact on companies.

"From the Climate Change Bill to green leases, the implication for companies and organisations is immense."
