It was one of the most popular polls we've ever held, with hundreds of readers having an opinion.

And it is clear most of the voters feel nuclear power must play a part in Scotland's future. More than 93 per cent felt Scotland would face an energy crisis if it didn't build new nuclear power stations. Just under seven per cent felt that would not be the case.
