In brief...: Telecom giant's Kwik Fit contract

Glasgow telecommunications giant THUS Plc has had its contract to provide telephone services with Kwik Fit Insurance extended.

The Kwik Fit Insurance call centre in Lanarkshire employs more than 1,000 people handling about 10 million calls a year.

Phil Male, chief operating officer at THUS, said: "Over the years we've built astrong relationship with Kwik Fit Insurance and it is testament to our positive track record that the relationship continues to flourish."
