In brief...: Bar Budda's style boost

The refit of popular Glasgow haunt Bar Budda, on Sauchiehall Street, has already been voted a hit by customers.

The £150,000 facelift was carried out by Dunn's, the winner of the prestigious 2007 Bar Refurbishment of the Year Award.

Michael Dunn, managing director of Dunn's, said: "Our detailed design brief was to create a quality, warm and welcoming environment that matches Bar Budda's style-conscious clientele.

"Glasgow is a very style-conscious city, which is why publicans and restaurateurs acknowledge the need to refurbish their offering at regular intervals in order to both retain existing customers and attract new clientele."
