Taylor recognised for his innovation and strategic vision at Glasgow Restaurant Awards 2012
MAURICE Taylor, founder and chief executive of independent hotel management company Chardon Management, has won the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award at the Glasgow Restaurant Awards 2012 in recognition of his innovation and strategic vision.
Taylor said that Glasgow offers the best dining scene in the UK outside London
“It is my belief that the entrepreneurial spirit that lies at the heart of the city’s hospitality sector has been central to its success and stands it in good stead for its ongoing development, ” he said.
Throughout his years in the industry has received a plethora of awards.
He is currently visiting Professor at the Scottish Hotel School and holds an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Strathclyde.
