Contracts follow successful drilling projects using its Turbocaser Express technology
Aberdeen oil and gas services firm Deep Casing Tools has secured repeat orders worth more than $2 million (£1.25 million) from operators in the UK North Sea and Saudi Arabia.
The contracts are for its high-speed drillable reaming system, Turbocaser Express, which enables casings and intermediate liners to be landed at target depth first time in difficult well environments.
After normal well cementation, the unique internal assembly can be drilled through in minutes in one cost effective operation.
The repeat contracts follow earlier successes using the Turbocaser technology in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province and the Endeavour Rochelle project in the UK North Sea.
Chief executive Lance Davis said: “These significant orders for delivery in the first quarter reinforce Deep Casing Tools’ consistent growth and reflects our strong relationship and clients’ confidence to deploy our technology in high cost and harsh environments.”
