Sports legends aid Royal Blind

Some sporting legends helped to raise £20,000 for the Royal Blind at a special quiz night.

With Murrayfield stadium as the setting guests were asked a series of football and rugby related questions at the inaugural Try and Score event to find out whether the round or oval ball was superior.

After four rounds of brain teasers presented by the likes of Gavin Hastings, Steven Pressley and Gordon Smith, a team from Robert Half Finance and Accounting came out on top.

Other luminaries from the football world spotted were managers Craig Levein and Steven Frail. Rugby stars from the past and present included Dan Parks and Kenny Milne.
