Scottish Enterprise grant of £750,000 helps expand research and development division
TELECOMS software developer Artilium is expanding its research and development with a s750,000 grant from Scottish Enterprise.
The money will help in creating 30 new jobs at the firm's base in Dunfermline, Fife.
Robert Marcus, chief executive of Artilium, said: "We chose Scotland as the base for our planned expansion in development capacity because of its highly-talented workforce, the excellence of its academic institutions, and the business environment we discovered there, which is clearly supportive of enterprise and innovation."
Enterprise Minister Jim Mather said: "The creation of 30 new R&D jobs at Artilium underlines Scotland's reputation for innovation excellence and resourceful, inventive people."
Linda McPherson, Regional Director at Scottish Enterprise, said: "The decision by Artilium to invest in its R&D activities in Dunfermline is an indication of how highly Scotland and its talent is regarded - and with its high growth potential, it is exactly the kind of company that we want to encourage to stay in Scotland.
