Optos revenues hit $73 million for nine months

Retinal imaging company on course for 25 per cent turnover increase

Revenues at medical device company Optos reached $73 million in the nine months to June 30, 2008.

In an interim management statement the Dunfermline firm, which supplies retinal scanning devices, said 93 per cent of revenue was generated through the core pay-per-patient model.

It achieved an 89 per cent customer renewal in the period and installed 112 new devices within a leading retail chain.

The company confirmed it was on course to generate revenue growth of between 20 and 25 per cent compared to last year.
